Common questions
Does Inkbright read our emails or reroute our mail?
No. Inkbright only updates the signature setting in each person's Gmail, using Google's own APIs. Your email never passes through us, and there's no mail routing to set up or break.
Do people need to install anything?
No. An admin installs Inkbright once and everyone's signature appears in Gmail automatically. If the admin installs it for everyone, people also get a Gmail side panel to add their own pronouns, mobile or booking link.
Can different teams have different signatures?
Yes. Assign designs by department, org unit, Google Group, job title or person. Everyone else gets your default design.
What happens when someone joins or changes role?
Inkbright reads Google Directory every hour, so new starters get their signature and changed job titles update within the hour, with no one lifting a finger.
What happens to our signatures if we cancel?
They stay exactly as they are in Gmail. Inkbright simply stops updating them. If you remove Inkbright completely, it clears the signatures it set and deletes your data.
